Imagine a kingdom located more than 100 meters underground, with large chambers, carved figures and a series of intricate corridors. The Wieliczka Salt Mine is on one hand reminiscent of a fairy-tale land, on the other it is a testament to the hard work of several generations of miners who mined salt deposits day by day. It is a unique monument on a European scale, which makes it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a must-see on the map of every tourist visiting Krakow. We will overcome the tourist route that leads through the most important corridors and chambers, bringing visitors closer to stories related to the functioning of the mine. You will hear local legends, see machines supporting the work of miners and you will see more than 20 unusual, underground chambers, along with the spectacular chapel of St. Kinga and the underground lake.
Remarks – persons with reduced mobility, please contact us in advance so that the route can be adapted to individual possibilities. The temperature in the mine is around 16 degrees Celsius, so during the visit it is worth getting warm clothing. People suffering from claustrophobia may feel uncomfortable while entering the surface of the mine by lift – in this case, please contact and consult with us in advance.
During this tour you will visit the most important monuments in the city and learn about the most interesting facts related to the history of Krakow. This is a necessary point for everyone who wants to discover the city in a „nutshell” – a great start for further exploration or an ideal proposal for those who are not fans of long trips around the city
The sightseeing includes the surroundings of the Old Town – we will pass through its streets, stopping at the most important monuments in Krakow:
During the visit you will hear about the turbulent history of Krakow, its rich art, architecture and a role of an intellectual center in the country. We will go through the old events up to the present days, embracing the story with many legends and curiosities. You will find out why the fire-breathing dragon is a symbol of Krakow and the entire Main Square is standstill , when at noon each day a bugle call is played from the church tower of St. Mary’s. In addition, the guide will share with you a dose of practical knowledge – about where to eat, how to spend the evening in the best way and where to buy souvenirs. Depending on your preferences, we will tell you more about the history and art of the city, or about its contemporary image – we will suggest which festivals and events it is best to take part in and where the true „hidden treasures” of today’s Krakow lie.
Each of our Sightseeing trips can be tailored to your expectations and interests. The program is often modified on the spot by our guide. For every trip in Krakow / Kazimierz there is the possibility of renting an electric car (we recommend especially during rain and with senior groups).
In the case of a group of over 10 people, we recommend using headsets. All additional options are priced on request and depend on the number of participants.

We had an awesome experience with BCA tour company. First and foremost, they are extremely trustworthy. They did everything that they said they would do.
Based on their very positive reviews, we booked a 2-day Krakow tour with BCA and used them to arrange car transport from Krakow to Prague. I found the service and response of this travel agency to be excellent. Also our guides in Krakow and Prague. Easily 5-stars.
