Wadowice is a small town, famous for being the birthplace of Karol Wojtyła – John Paul II. Wadowice is partly located in the Little Beskids, on the Skawa River, thanks to which you can see the panorama of the mountains from the city. Wadowice is located about 50 km from Krakow, and the easiest way to get to town is by private car. It is also possible to reach Wadowice by tourist bus as part of an organized trip. The most popular are day trips organized from Krakow, with departures in the morning and back in the afternoon.
